Completed Course Assessments
Assessment Name
Score (%) Enter your score percentage for this assessment (e.g. 85.00 for 85%).
Weight (%) The percentage this assessment contributes to your final grade (e.g. 20 for 20%).
How is this calculated?

Grade Contribution & Weights:

First, your current grade contribution is calculated by multiplying each assessment score by its syllabus weight and dividing by 100:

Current Contribution = Σ(Score × Weight) / 100

Remaining Course Weight:

Next, the remaining syllabus weight is determined by subtracting the sum of all completed assessment weights from 100%:

Remaining Weight = 100% - Σ(Completed Weights)

Required Target Score:

Finally, the percentage needed on the remaining assessments (e.g. final exam) to reach your target course grade is calculated as follows:

Required Score = (Target Grade - Current Contribution) / (Remaining Weight / 100)
