CGPA Calculator

Semester GPAs & Credit Weights
Semester
Semester SGPA Enter your GPA for this semester (e.g. 8.50 or 3.80).
Credits (Optional) Enter credit weight for this semester. Leave blank if all semesters carry equal weight (Simple Average).
How is this calculated?

Simple Average (No Credits):

If credit weight fields are left blank, semesters carry equal weight. The CGPA is calculated by dividing the sum of all semester SGPAs by the total number of semesters:

CGPA = (SGPA 1 + SGPA 2 + ... + SGPA N) / N

Weighted Average (With Credits):

If credit weights are entered, the CGPA is calculated by multiplying each semester's SGPA by its credit weight, summing these up, and dividing by the total number of credits:

CGPA = Σ(SGPA × Credits) / Σ(Credits)

* Note: The calculator automatically detects if your grading system uses a 4-point or 10-point scale based on the maximum SGPA value you enter.
